Show News

The 2009 Show is confirmed for July 18 and 19, in Lacombe Alberta. You can check out the IHC 38 Forum (topic #101) for more details. The 2008 Show is in the books for another year. Check out these pictures of highlights from the show (this will link to a Picasa Gallery - with more than 170 photographs - which will open in a separate page).

Membership in IHC 38

The Western Canada IH Collectors Club Chapter 38 is part of an organization that has established chapters worldwide. Its goal is to preserve the historical facts and data of International Harvester including the McCormick Family history. Chapter 38 covers the complete lines of International Harvester tractors, trucks, engines, equipment, literature, and toys that make up the history of International Harvester.

As a member, you will receive Harvester Highlights, a national quarterly publication that will provide you with interesting articles and photos, including historical information on the company and products, reviews of shows, advertising, classified ads and more. You will also receive a quarterly newsletter of Chapter 38 activities.

Chapter 38 short and long term plans include:

• Developing a unique identity from our strengths as a large chapter.
• Promote the benefits of Chapter 38 to others interested in collecting IHC.
• Assist members with product knowledge in restoring, collecting, and displaying their collections.
• Build a showcase of IH products to display locally and nationally at other IH events.
• Host an annual convention (locations to be determined) for elections of new board members.

Chapter 38 invites you to submit your application and become part of an exciting time in building an award-winning Chapter dedicated to its members and in preserving the history of International Harvester.
